Topics addressed in her coaching and retreat programs are the fear of high waves, building confidence in the (often times male-dominated line up), calming techniques and building a community of like-minded surfer women!

My name is Lena, I was born in Germany but spent a lot of time by the sea in order to pursue my passion of surfing until I finally moved to Portugal in 2019. There I found myself living a dream of surf, yoga and social connections. Hey, I am Dave from the UK. I have a background in interior and brand design and have been living in Ericeira for the last two years. A lot of my recent experience in the UK was working with co-work spaces, for clients, and for myself.

Surfer turned entrepreneur Lac Campbell has made his mark on surf tourism businesses and surf brands across the globe. His Company, ‘The Surfing Copywriter,’ tackles websites, blog articles, press releases, scripts, and newsletters.

Over the last 7 years, between Figueira da Foz - a small town in Portugal - and the neighbouring beach of Cabedelo, people get together and share. They share waves, surfboards, music, art, and last but not least, they share good food and wine.

Gliding Barnacles appears in an attempt to promote surfing as part of a community, and has given new meanings to a celebration that has started with a group of friends, about the passion for the sea and surfing in Figueira da Foz.

This desire to connect the sea to the city in a big event managed to transform what was a peripheral place - Praia do Cabedelo - into a space that defied its own limits and that united, annually, the four corners of the world through sea culture, art, music and gastronomy.
